We continue our journey towards the feast of May 31, on which several sisters celebrate their Golden Jubilee. On this occasion, Carmen Gómez Muñoz, who is in Sevilla at the Virgen de los Reyes House, shares:
I advanced my Golden Jubilee… The Lord gave me a month and a half in Manresa at the end of last year!
It was an extraordinary gift… I went there with the intention of celebrating the entire encounter with the Lord. An unforgettable experience – the immersion course in Ignatian Spirituality.
It has been a revival, update, revitalization of many aspects of so many years and that have helped me to be happy.
One of the aspects that has touched me most in this experience has been how Ignatius allowed himself to be formed by God … how his life was a constant search for the Lord.
Ignatius was the great seeker of the Lord, from the small things, the every day things, always open to the will of God.
This is also my dream today… Lord, what do you want? Where are you taking me? What is your path…?
This is why I say with the psalmist:
TASTE AND SEE HOW GOOD IS THE LORD,
BLESSED IS HE WHO TAKES REFUGE IN HIM!
