On May 31, Visitation Day and commemoration of the birth of Mother Candida, the Provincial Superior, Sr, Jocelyn Salomo Provincial Congregation of East Asia to be held in Taipei, Ching Tien St. Joseph House, Taipei. and will begin on December 5, when the first session will take place. On December 4, there will be a retreat day attended by all the COP Delegates to prepare for this event.
In his letter he recalls that according to our Institute, the COP does not have a legislative character, but its purposes are:
- To elect the members who will attend the GC with the Provincial Superior. From our
province of East Asia 4 members and two more as alternates will be elected.- Give their opinion on the postulates made by the Sisters of the province for
to be sent to the GC.- To study the issues proposed by the General and Provincial Superiors in order to
assist in the preparation of the GC.
She also shared that she has admitted three second year novices to make their first vows on June 29 at the Manresa Retreat House, Manila. And that he has approved the renewal of the temporary vows of another Daughter of Jesus.
We continue to pray for them and for all the sisters in formation that, come what may, they may maintain their desire to be like Jesus as His true daughters.
