The Spiritual Exercises of GC XIX begin

Number 35 of the Rules of Procedure of the General Congregation states that before beginning the work of the General Congregation, there shall be, whenever circumstances permit, a few days dedicated especially to prayer and reflection.

As indicated by the Superior General in her letter number 36, GC XIX will be preceded by the eight-day Spiritual Exercises guided by the Jesuit priest Francisco José Ruiz (Paco Pepe), from April 12-19.

Thus, the members will be in the USA during Holy Week and will celebrate Easter Sunday in the context of the universal Church.
