The month of May has been a very special one. The celebration of the birth of Mother Candida was joined by the perpetual vows of two Sisters: Silvia Rozas (Spain) and Florie May P. Llorando (Philippines). Like our Foundress, they have responded to God’s call of perpetual consecration to Jesus Christ in His Church as Daughters of Jesus.
Silvia Rozas gave her definitive YES to God on Saturday 14th May in the parish of San Francisco Javier and San Luis Gonzaga in the neighbourhood of La Ventilla, in Madrid. The Eucharist was presided over by Cardinal Carlos Osoro, Archbishop of Madrid. It was a day of celebration in which Daughters of Jesus and lay people celebrated together with her the gift of her vocation and her decision to give her whole person to the service of God for the good of others.
This event had an international character thanks to the fact that it was broadcast live on the YouTube channel of the Daughters of Jesus | Spain-Italy Province, where it can be seen again. Vídeo

“Remain in my love”, are the words of our Lord Jesus Christ addressed to his beloved disciples in the book of the evangelist and disciple John. These words of love became a source of joy, inspiration, courage, and strength not only for Florie May and Silvia Rozas but also for all of us, the Daughters of Jesus.
May all of us who love, accompany and serve the Lord in our respective life vocations continue to be instruments of God’s love in the world today. AMDG!
