In 2015, the lay collaborators in the Philippines held the National F.I.-Lay Congress where they discussed pertinent matters regarding their mission and collaboration with the sisters in the Congregation. On the second day of the congress (October 3, 2015), they presented to Sr. Jocelyn Salomo, FI, (representing the General Government) a manifesto expressing their desire to initiate the planning of the Third International Encounter of the Lay.
