Fue una gracia hacer la experiencia durante el tiempo de Cuaresma para experimentar profundamente el amor\">we, Celina and Crystal of the Mother Candida International Novitiate, had our experience of abnegation in the Little Cottolengo Don Orione from April 19 to March 23, 2018. It was a grace to undergo the experience during the Lenten season in order to experience God\u2019s love\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"de Dios y compartir ese amor con otras personas.\">profoundly and share that love with other people.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The Cottolengo is an institution that becomes a home for our brothers with mental disabilities, welcoming them, making the house a space that receives and accompanies them.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"El lugar tiene 123 residentes a quienes cuida e intenta brindar las mejores condiciones, haciendo posible que cada uno alcance las mayores posibilidades seg\u00fan su capacidad, valorando as\u00ed sus vidas, haci\u00e9ndolas m\u00e1s plenas.\">The place has 123 residents who are being cared for and given the best possible living conditions, giving everyone\u00a0\u00a0a chance to realize his potentials best according to his own capacity, thus valuing and making their lives fuller.<br \/><\/span><span title=\"La experiencia de abnegaci\u00f3n nos va moldeando para ser m\u00e1s misericordiosas y amar a otras personas.\">The experience of self-denial leads us to be more merciful and to love other people.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Como dice la abnegaci\u00f3n;\">As abnegation indicates,\u00a0<\/span><strong><span title=\"\u201csalir de s\u00ed misma y abajarse\u201d as\u00ed marca nuestro coraz\u00f3n y nos invita a practicar esa virtud en la vida cotidiana, ya sea que estemos en la comunidad o fuera de ella.\">&#8220;going out of oneself and humbling oneself&#8221;<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0thus marks our heart and invites us to practice that virtue in everyday life, whether we are in the community or outside it.\u00a0<span title=\"En este tiempo el Cottolengo nos ha hecho aumentar la paciencia, y poder valorar la vida que Dios nos ha dado, para compartirla y entregarla a nuestros hermanos.\">In this time the Cottolengo has made us grow in patience, able to value the life that God has given us, to share it and dedicate it to our brothers.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Esta experiencia nos ense\u00f1\u00f3 a estar agradecidas y contentas por lo que hemos podido hacer por cada uno de los residentes que acompa\u00f1amos en este tiempo, aunque nos haya costado hacerlo.\">This experience taught us to be grateful and happy for what we have been able to do for each of the residents that we accompanied during this time, even if it has been difficult for us.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Lo importante es ser sensible a lo que otras personas necesitan y no solo concentrarse en lo que necesitamos y lo que queremos.\">The important thing is to be sensitive to what other people need and not just focus on what we need and what we want.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Y, sobre todo, esta experiencia nos ense\u00f1\u00f3 a mostrarnos m\u00e1s humanas y de este modo colabora en la misi\u00f3n de nuestro Se\u00f1or, para la mayor gloria de Dios.\">And above all, this experience taught us to be more are also the desires we experienced during the spiritual exercises and that God gave us the opportunity to live and experience during the experience of abnegation.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Y ahora
