{"id":28889,"date":"2018-10-11T18:27:20","date_gmt":"2018-10-11T16:27:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nueva.hijasdejesus.org\/first-experience-of-the-novitiate\/"},"modified":"2018-10-15T17:57:46","modified_gmt":"2018-10-15T15:57:46","slug":"first-experience-of-the-novitiate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/en\/first-experience-of-the-novitiate\/","title":{"rendered":"First Experience of the Novitiate"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>The month of Spiritual Exercises is one of the most significant experiences in the Novitiate.\u00a0<span title=\"Del  27 de julio al 30 de agosto de 2018 hice mi experiencia junto con mis seis compa\u00f1eros:  cinco novicios Jesuitas y una hermana juniora de la Congregaci\u00f3n Teresianas de Osso.\">From July 27 to August 30, 2018 I made my experience together with my six companions: five Jesuit novices and one Junior sister of the Teresian Sisters [of St. Henry de Oss\u00f3].\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Se realiz\u00f3 en la de  Casa Retiros Santos M\u00e1rtires, que tiene la Compa\u00f1\u00eda de Jes\u00fas en la Ciudad Limpio de Paraguay.\">It was held in the Casa Retiros Santos M\u00e1rtires, which the Society of Jesus has the in the City of Limpio in Paraguay.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Estuvimos acompa\u00f1ados por nuestros  formadores.\">We were accompanied by our formators.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Yo por la Hna.\">I was accompanied by Sister\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Iris Altagracia Gonz\u00e1lez, el novicio paraguayo  y la hermana teresiana por el  Padre Oscar Mart\u00edn SJ  y los 4 novicios de Argentina-Uruguay por el P. Juan Carlos Su\u00e1rez, SJ Formador de Argentina-Uruguay.\">Iris Altagracia Gonz\u00e1lez; the Paraguayan novice and the Teresian sister, by Father Oscar Mart\u00edn SJ; and the 4 novices of Argentina-Uruguay by Fr. Juan Carlos Su\u00e1rez, SJ, Formator for Argentina-Uruguay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Each day we had five prayer periods and the examination of each prayer that helped us to be open to the guidance of the Spirit.\u00a0<span title=\"Los frutos del Principio y Fundamento y la primera semana me recordaron que Dios es la ra\u00edz de mi vida y que aunque me aleje de mi origen, cuento con la misericordia y compasi\u00f3n de Dios que me hace sentir que soy  pecadora perdonada.\">The fruits of the Principle and Foundation and the First Week reminded me that God is the root of my life; and that although I distance myself from my origin, I count on the mercy and compassion of God who makes me feel that I am a forgiven sinner.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"La segunda semana de ejercicios entramos en la vida de Jes\u00fas en Bel\u00e9n, Nazaret y Jerusal\u00e9n.\">The Second Week of exercises we entered into the life of Jesus in Bethlehem, Nazareth and Jerusalem.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Es una semana que est\u00e1 llena de diferentes emociones y sentimientos al mismo tiempo, me permiti\u00f3 volver a mi pasado y contemplar mi propia historia que y sent\u00eda c\u00f3mo Jes\u00fas fue quien experiment\u00f3 en m\u00ed todo lo que El me quiso regalar (Dios hace experiencia en m\u00ed\u2026\">It is a week that is full of different emotions and feelings, and at the same time, it allowed me to go back to my past and contemplate my own history; and I felt how Jesus was the one who experienced in me all that He wanted to give me (God makes experience in me &#8230;\u00a0<\/span><span title=\") Aunque la segunda semana fue muy agotadora y hubo momentos de desolaci\u00f3n, los  frutos no han tenido precio, especialmente la curaci\u00f3n de mi herida.\">) Although the second week was very exhausting and there were moments of desolation, the fruits have been priceless, especially the healing of my wound.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Y me llam\u00f3 la atenci\u00f3n el Jes\u00fas de Nazaret que se hizo hombre para compartir su vida y darme la libertad.\">And I was struck by the Jesus of Nazareth who became a man to share his life and give me freedom.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>For the Third Week we entered the passion and crucifixion of Jesus, which is the third degree of love.\u00a0<span title=\"Entr\u00e9 tambi\u00e9n en mi propia crucifixi\u00f3n en la vida, estaba llena de emoci\u00f3n contemplando a Jes\u00fas que llev\u00f3 mi propia cruz y el sufrimiento del mundo.\">I also entered into my own crucifixion in life. I was full of emotion contemplating Jesus who carried my own cross and the suffering of the world.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Jes\u00fas que muri\u00f3 para salvar a la humanidad de los pecados y vive del amor a la voluntad del padre.\">Jesus who died to save humanity from sin and lives from love of the will of the Father.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Despu\u00e9s de la tercera semana, entramos en la cuarta: la resurrecci\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas y (contemplaci\u00f3n para alcanzar el amor).\">After the third week, we entered the Fourth: the resurrection of Jesus (and contemplation to attain love).\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Es una semana en la que tambi\u00e9n resucit\u00e9, traigo el amor de Dios que recib\u00ed.\">It is a week in which I also resurrected, I bring the love of God that I received.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Recog\u00ed todas mis experiencias y los frutos estuvieron llenos de alegr\u00eda, esperanza, consuelo y la fe en Dios, el Padre, el Hijo y el Esp\u00edritu Santo.\">I gathered all my experiences and the fruits were full of joy, hope, consolation and faith in God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"La resurrecci\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas tambi\u00e9n es la  m\u00eda,  esta experiencia significativa porque Dios es amor que vive y trabaja por m\u00ed.\">The resurrection of Jesus is also mine, this significant experience because God is love who lives and labors for me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 8pt; color: #222222; line-height: normal; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; color: #333333;\"><br \/><\/span><strong>This month of silence taught me:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The simplicity of prayer, how to listen to the call of the Spirit, the contemplation that really helped me to enter into my prayer to see the people, what they are doing, listen to what they are talking about.<br \/><span title=\"\u2022\tLa importancia del silencio en la oraci\u00f3n especialmente en la formaci\u00f3n del noviciado.\">\u2022 The importance of silence in prayer, especially in the formation of the novitiate.<br \/><\/span><span title=\"\u2022\tEl discernimiento del Esp\u00edritu que gu\u00eda en la toma de decisiones y la responsabilidad que tambi\u00e9n se comunica con el mundo real.\">\u2022 The discernment of the Spirit that guides in decision-making and the responsibility that also communicates with the real world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 8pt; color: #222222; line-height: 15.6933px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; line-height: 12.84px; font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; color: #333333;\"><br \/><\/span><span title=\"Estoy llena de agradecimiento!\">I&#8217;m full of gratitude!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The month of Spiritual Exercises is one of the most significant experiences in the Novitiate.\u00a0From July 27 to August 30, 2018 I made my experience together with my six companions: five Jesuit novices and one Junior sister of the Teresian Sisters [of St. Henry de Oss\u00f3].\u00a0It was held in the Casa Retiros Santos M\u00e1rtires, which [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":28,"featured_media":9692,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[528,412],"tags":[703],"class_list":["post-28889","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-hijas-de-jesus-en","category-news","tag-formacion-inicial-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
