On December 8 we celebrate the 147th anniversary of the founding of the Congregation, \u201cand we do so within the framework of the Memorial Year of the Rosarillo Experience and of the 18th\u00a0General Congregation\u201d.<\/p>\n

In this context, M\u00aa Inez Furtado FI, Superior General, writes her latest circular to all the sisters of the Congregation in which she invites \u201conce again to the union of hearts, and to express it in a very special way in the celebration of Mary Immaculate\u201d.<\/p>\n

In the preparation of this congregational date\u00a0we join the Family of Mother Candida\u00a0in welcoming the proposal made by the Superior General in the circular to the sisters:pray and contemplate the Virgin of the Rosarillo.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, let’s look at this image before which, without a doubt, the young Juana Josefa prayed so many times, until she established a familiarity with the Virgin that, as we know, led her to declare that She was the \u2018foundress of this Congregation\u2019 … our mother, star, teacher …<\/em><\/p>\n

Let’s look at it with our heart, and allow our hearts to be moved. In each motion let’s ask ourselves again: To what are you calling us now, Lord? What do you want us to do?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0We contemplate the Blessed Virgin of the Rosarillo<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let your heart roam freely through the altarpiece, and without hurry, notice:<\/p>\n

Her face\u00a0…<\/p>\n

Observe how she gazes and with what eyes …<\/p>\n

From where does she look?<\/p>\n

Where does her gaze rest?<\/p>\n

Listen to her!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Her relationship with Jesus … and that of Jesus with her …<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dare to scrutinize the relationships of Mary: with the Father, the Holy Spirit of God and the Son;<\/p>\n

with Joseph, her parents, the apostles, the Church …<\/p>\n

with our Congregation … with you …<\/p>\n

Recreate your relationship with her!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Her feet\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Feel how they step on the ground. The one who taught Jesus to walk<\/p>\n

is called to accompany the Son’s steps, to live incarnate, to walk in his ways …<\/p>\n

Take a few steps with her.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Look also at the other faces, images or details that may surprise you …<\/p>\n

To what is the Lord calling us?<\/strong><\/p>\n
