{"id":29732,"date":"2022-01-24T13:36:26","date_gmt":"2022-01-24T12:36:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nueva.hijasdejesus.org\/destination-amazon\/"},"modified":"2022-01-24T13:36:26","modified_gmt":"2022-01-24T12:36:26","slug":"destination-amazon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/en\/destination-amazon\/","title":{"rendered":"Destination: Amazon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>On this date, January 24, our sisters <strong><em>Kenia<\/em> <\/strong>and <strong><em>Yomaris<\/em> <\/strong>are traveling to<a href=\"index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=2277;our-first-steps-in-the-amazon&amp;catid=13&amp;Itemid=142&amp;lang=en\"> their new destination<\/a>: <strong>WIJINT Mission in the Vicariate of YURIMAGUAS, Peru<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It is <strong>a new country where we arrived<\/strong> as a religious family and that will become familiar to us.<\/p>\n<p>And we also arrived in a new way, united with other congregations and laity for a common mission: <strong>the REIBA Project, of bilingual education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A few days ago the two met to make their presentation, with <strong><em>Pablo Mora, SJ<\/em><\/strong>, coordinator of the Project, <em><strong>In\u00e9s Zambrano<\/strong><\/em>, Superior General of the Lauritas, a Colombian congregation founded by the nun, Laura Montoya, in whose community Kenya and Yomaris will live. <strong><em>Graciela<\/em> <\/strong>was also present and she shared with us her great emotion when she heard the enthusiasm that our sisters transmitted.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-11574\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2022-01-24_Amazonia06.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"574\" height=\"430\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We appreciate this gesture of our family, the fruit of the Amazon Synod, and offering for the 150 years of our history.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>Dear Yomaris and Kenya,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We wish to express our closeness as a universal Body. <strong>We are all Amazons<\/strong>&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Our prayer of fraternal support for this mission that is already in our hearts\u00a0<strong>fills us with joy and commits us<\/strong> to sow together with you.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Thank you, sisters, for your generous &#8220;yes&#8221;.
