{"id":38389,"date":"2024-02-19T20:12:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-19T19:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/?p=38389"},"modified":"2024-07-08T10:12:44","modified_gmt":"2024-07-08T08:12:44","slug":"primeros-votos-perpetuos-en-vietnam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/en\/primeros-votos-perpetuos-en-vietnam\/","title":{"rendered":"First Perpetual Vows in Vietnam"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After a profound 12-year process, the land of Vietnam has borne its first fruits with the <strong>perpetual profession of Sisters Rosa and Ana Nguyen<\/strong>, marking a significant milestone in the history of the Congregation.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>\n  <em>Rosa Nguyen<\/em>\n<\/strong>Rosa Nguyen, was born on March 10, 1986 in the province of <em>Binh Thuan<\/em>, in the southeast of Vietnam, <strong>\n  <em>Rosa<\/em>\n<\/strong> is the youngest of a large family with 8 brothers and 2 older sisters. His journey to perpetual vows began on March 19, 2012 as an aspirant in <em>Ho Chi Minh City<\/em>. After passing through different stages, it culminated on February 2, 2024 in the Parish of Hope.<\/p>\n\n<p>During her training, <em>\n  <strong>Rosa<\/strong>\n<\/em> not only studied <strong>theology<\/strong> at the De La Salle Seminary in <em>Ho Chi Minh City<\/em>, but also played important roles, from being an <strong>assistant at the Aspirants&#8217; House<\/strong> to <strong>actively<\/strong> contributing <strong>to the parish<\/strong> of <em>Dan Tru<\/em> in the Diocese of <em>Bac Ninh<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>\n  <em>Ana Nguyen<\/em>\n<\/strong>was born on February 15, 1986 in <em>Da Nang<\/em>. <strong>\n  <em>Ana <\/em>\n<\/strong>comes from a family where devotion is shared, since her older sister belongs to the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres. Following the same path, Ana pronounced her perpetual vows together with <strong>\n  <em>Rosa <\/em>\n<\/strong>in the same ceremony in the Parish of Hope.<\/p>\n\n<p>Ana&#8217;s journey included <strong>studies in Theology<\/strong>, followed by a continued dedication to <strong>pre-school education <\/strong>at <em>Hong Bang <\/em>University in <em>Ho Chi Minh<\/em> City. A tangible reflection of this process is the inspiration they both provide by reciting the vow to obey the call &#8220;to go anywhere in the world&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<p>By embracing spiritual communion with the Daughters of Jesus throughout the world and with those around them, <strong>\n  <em>Rosa<\/em>\n<\/strong> y <strong>\n  <em>Ana<\/em>\n<\/strong> expressed their<strong>gratitude to God, to the Congregation <\/strong>for their acceptance and formation, and to the <strong>sisters <\/strong>for their constant accompaniment. May the Congregation continue to serve with devotion in the places where it is most needed in Vietnam, thus fulfilling Mother Candida&#8217;s call to &#8220;go to the ends of the earth in search of souls&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<p>Graciela, in her <strong>34th letter<\/strong>, shares the happiness that these vows mean:<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>On February 2, the Day of Consecrated Life, the following junior sisters made their perpetual profession in Vietnam <strong>\n  <em>Rosa Nguyen<\/em>\n<\/strong> y <em>\n  <strong>Ana Nguyen<\/strong>\n<\/em>. It was a very special holiday in Ho Chi Minh City. And this marks a new phase in the history of the Congregation, since <em>\n  <strong>Rosa<\/strong>\n<\/em> y <em>\n  <strong>Ana<\/strong>\n<\/em> are the first fully incorporated Daughters of Jesus in this country.
