{"id":39560,"date":"2024-06-03T11:14:03","date_gmt":"2024-06-03T09:14:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/?p=39560"},"modified":"2024-11-18T15:21:45","modified_gmt":"2024-11-18T14:21:45","slug":"convocada-la-congregacion-provincial-de-asia-oriental","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/en\/convocada-la-congregacion-provincial-de-asia-oriental\/","title":{"rendered":"Provincial Congregation of East Asia convened"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On May 31, Visitation Day and commemoration of the birth of Mother Candida, the Provincial Superior, Sr,<strong>\n  <em> Jocelyn Salomo<\/em>\n<\/strong>Provincial Congregation of East Asia to be held in <strong>Taipei, Ching Tien St. Joseph House<\/strong>, Taipei. and will begin on <strong>December 5<\/strong>, when the first session will take place. <strong>On December 4, there will be a retreat day<\/strong> attended by all the COP Delegates to prepare for this event.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In his letter he recalls that according to our Institute, the COP does not have a legislative character, but its purposes are:<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To elect the members who will attend the GC with the Provincial Superior. From our<br\/>province of East Asia 4 members and two more as alternates will be elected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Give their opinion on the postulates made by the Sisters of the province for<br\/>to be sent to the GC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To study the issues proposed by the General and Provincial Superiors in order to<br\/>assist in the preparation of the GC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>She also shared that she <strong>has admitted three second year novices to make their first vows<\/strong> on June 29 at the Manresa Retreat House, Manila.
