I am Colombian and now I am <strong>sent to Granada<\/strong> to complete part of my training: my studies in Theology.<\/p>\n\n<p>My formation in the Congregation began in 2019 as an <strong>aspirant <\/strong>and <strong>postulant<\/strong>. In 2021 I traveled to C\u00f3rdoba (Argentina) for my <strong>novitiate<\/strong>, which ended with my profession of <strong>first vows<\/strong> on June 5, 2023. From there it was sent to Spain, where I am currently located.<\/p>\n\n<p>A few days before, I had been preparing for this moment by <strong>preparing my heart<\/strong>, going through my memory of what I had lived in the last year, <strong>thanking <\/strong>God and collecting each of the experiences I had lived: the joys and fatigue of the road, what I had learned and unlearned. There <strong>the Lord <\/strong> <strong>has<\/strong> also <strong>made himself present<\/strong> and there I have found him pouring out his love.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;Lord, you probe me and you know me.&#8221;<\/strong> With this simple verse began Psalm 138 of the Liturgy of <strong>June 24<\/strong>, feast of the Birth of St. John the Baptist. And it is this same verse that accompanies me for this &#8220;renewed&#8221; time.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was also the day on which we celebrated the <strong>Eucharist for the renewal<\/strong> of my temporary vows as a juniora Daughter of Jesus at the International House of the Juniorate in Granada. In a <strong>very simple and welcoming atmosphere<\/strong>, presided over by <strong>Fr. <em>Diego Molina, sj<\/em><\/strong>, together with some <strong>sisters from other communities<\/strong> who were also present to accompany me and whom I thank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1800\" height=\"2401\" src=\"https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG-20240624-WA0101-edited.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-39842\" style=\"width:280px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG-20240624-WA0101-edited.jpg 1800w, https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG-20240624-WA0101-edited-1280x1707.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG-20240624-WA0101-edited-980x1307.jpg 980w, https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/IMG-20240624-WA0101-edited-480x640.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) and (max-width: 1280px) 1280px, (min-width: 1281px) 1800px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>Living and deepening on <strong>this renewed &#8220;yes&#8221;<\/strong> that the Lord gives me by his grace, and for which I feel grateful and committed to continue seeking and finding his will in everything, like John the Baptist, I <strong>want Him to continue guiding and supporting me<\/strong> along the way with so many people who accompany me and, in this way, to continue announcing and <strong>pointing Him as the only Lord and Master<\/strong> who is here and continues calling me to serve Him in others; and He <strong>continues calling many young people <\/strong>to follow Him.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>\n  <em>Mayerly Ruiz Suarez<\/em>\n<\/strong><strong> FI Juniora<\/strong><br\/><strong>International Juniorate in Granada (Spain)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Renewal of temporary vows in Granada My name is Mayerly and I am a juniora of the Daughters of Jesus.
