{"id":43647,"date":"2024-07-22T20:28:00","date_gmt":"2024-07-22T18:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/?p=43647"},"modified":"2024-11-18T15:19:34","modified_gmt":"2024-11-18T14:19:34","slug":"suggestions-for-praying-with-the-gc-xix-logo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hijasdejesus.org\/en\/suggestions-for-praying-with-the-gc-xix-logo\/","title":{"rendered":"Suggestions for praying with the GC XIX logo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are inaugurating a time in which each of us <strong>is called to prepare ourselves for the next General Congregation <\/strong>(GC).\nLike our Foundress, <strong>let us allow Jesus<\/strong>, the incarnate, crucified and risen Son, to <strong>usher us<\/strong> into a new period of life for the Congregational Body. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>A GC <\/strong>is always a time of grace, it <strong>is an opportunity<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>to allow ourselves to be found<\/strong> by the Lord<strong> in our deepest identity<\/strong>, to <strong>be <\/strong>true <strong>Daughters <\/strong>of Jesus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>to walk together <\/strong>and discover in our community environments that He is also present there and challenges us to a magis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>to make<\/strong> your preparation a spiritual experience in which, in fact, we <strong>want the Holy Spirit to be the protagonist<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Praying with its fundamental elements  <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>The logo represents our identity and the process we are preparing to live.\nIt maintains the current logo of the Congregation with its fundamental elements and what they convey: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>IHS: <strong>Jesus<\/strong> <strong>in<\/strong> <strong>the<\/strong> <strong>center<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cross: <strong>Identity<\/strong>.<strong> Giving.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Circle: <strong>Community<\/strong>. <strong>World<\/strong>. <strong>Universals<\/strong>. <strong>Welcoming<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open lines: <strong>Embrace<\/strong>. <strong>Welcoming<\/strong>. <strong>Openness<\/strong>. <strong>Everyone fits<\/strong>. <strong>Fraternity<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Typography: <strong>Simplicity<\/strong>. <strong>Clarity<\/strong>. <strong>Legibility<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Colors: <strong>Serenity<\/strong>. <strong>Joy<\/strong>. <strong>Diversity<\/strong>. <strong>Today<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Made with the <em>one line<\/em> style, drawings made with a single stroke, without interruptions, it represents <strong>dynamism<\/strong> and <strong>vitality<\/strong>, in addition to bringing a tone of <strong>freshness<\/strong> and <strong>joy<\/strong> to the whole brand image.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>How do these characteristics resonate with me?\nDo I see them reflected in my life and in the lives of other Daughters of Jesus?\nWhich of them do I feel as a gift that God has given me?\nWhich one do I need more at this time in my life?   <\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>For GC XIX, <strong>three figures<\/strong> are added that could well be each one of us, from our communities, our walk with others or our conversations on the road, together with Jesus, like the disciples returning to Emmaus.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>What do we talk about along the way?\nWhere does Jesus come to us?\nWho do these three figures remind me of?\nWhat do they evoke?   <\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>They walk towards <strong>identity<\/strong> on a line that supports, welcomes and orients them&#8230; Difficulties, despite our desire for fidelity, often make our journey uphill, full of curves and obstacles.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>How do I feel it is the path of my life, of my day to day life?\nHow do I live it?\nDoes it sustain me or tire me?\nWhat curves do I experience?\nWhat are my obstacles?\nWhich paths are blocking me?     <\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>But, <strong>with Him, it is possible to face the road <\/strong>. Together.\nIn Him.\nFrom our individuality but in communion of diversities.\nLetting the best of each one of us emerge.   <\/p>\n\n<p><em>How have I faced and do I face the paths of my life?\nWith whom?\nWhat is the best in me?\nWhat is the best of those with whom I make community?   <\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>We place our hope in the risen Jesus, not in ourselves, not in our means and abilities.\nThis hope is reflected in the <strong>rays of light coming from the cross<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p><em>Where do I put my hope?\nWhere do I find it?\nWhere do I find the light to walk my path, the one that the Spirit inspires in me?  <\/em><\/p>\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>We pray with our Constitutions<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>The logo of GC XIX is inspired by <strong>number 318<\/strong> of our Constitutions, which reminds us that <strong>the Congregation was not established by human means and should not be maintained by human means<\/strong>, but by the power of Christ.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;Because the Congregation, which has not been instituted by human means, cannot be preserved or increased by them, but by the omnipotent hand of Christ, our God and Lord, it is necessary to place in Him alone the hope that He will preserve and carry forward the work which He has deigned to begin.&#8221;\nCFI 318 <\/p>\n\n<p>For this reason, we want to place our hope in him alone and make the journey of preparation with him.\n(Phil. 1:6) <\/p>\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>We pray with an outgoing Church<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>&#8220;The Holy Spirit possesses infinite inventiveness&#8221; (EG 178).  <strong>Walking the path with Him, together, listening and discerning His voice will make us bold, creative in the Lord, we will live and build a path of hope.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p>We hope that General Congregation XIX will be:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>With Him, the way of listening.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With Him, the road to participation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With Him, the path of communion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With Him, the path of creativity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>With Him, the path of hope.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The logo reflects the desire to walk in this GC XIX, <strong>with Him, towards our identity to be today the presence that the Holy Spirit is awakening in us<\/strong>. Let us allow Jesus to awaken our creativity and with it <strong>make us bearers of hope<\/strong> to a world so in need of reasons to hope.  <\/p>\n\n<p><em>What flavor does the logo leave me with?\nWhat has been awakened in me in this prayer?\nWhat does it invite me to?  <\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are inaugurating a time in which each of us is called to prepare ourselves for the next General Congregation (GC).
