In her last circular letter, Sr. Graciela Franconvicg, shared with us about the Novitiate for English-speaking formandees which will start in Manila of the Indico-Pacific Province. On April 2, three young women from Indonesia will take a new step in their response to God\u2019s call as they enter postulancy<\/strong>. Currently, there are young postulants in Bangladesh and in the Philippines.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

These young women have been previously accompanied by the Sisters of Asia Oriental in their aspirancy<\/strong>. Their vocational journey is a sign of hope and commitment to the mission of the Hijas de Jesus. <\/p>\n\n

<\/a>To strengthen the FI Formation: The Novitiate for English-speaking Formandees<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

After a process of discernment and dialogue, the Provincial Government of the Indico-Pacific Province requested the General Government that a novitiate in the Philippines<\/strong> will welcome young women from Bangladesh, the Philippines and Indonesia. There were several important reasons for this decision: <\/p>\n\n

\u2705 To form a solid group<\/strong> of novices who have a strong sense of community.\u2705 To be guided by a Novice Mistress<\/strong> who can guarantee a common accompaniment.\u2705 To favor a shared formative process which respects the richness of each culture.<\/p>\n\n

With this broad and apostolic perspective, the Superior General, Graciela Francovig<\/strong>, approved the request and indicated that this novitiate is of the Indico-Pacific Province where Sisters from different countries can participate.<\/p>\n\n

A Commitment and an Opportunity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

We thank God for the gift of vocation<\/strong> which fills us with hope. We also recognize that the challenges of formation today are demanding: inculturating the Gospel and our being Hijas de Jesus in diverse cultures.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

Thus, we are invited to:<\/p>\n\n

\ud83d\ude4f Pray for the formation of<\/strong> these young women and their vocational journey.\ud83d\udd25 Renew our own vocation<\/strong>, living our call with joy and dedication.\ud83c\udf31 Be a living witness<\/strong> of a full life in the Lord, remembering that the first pastoral vocational ministry begins with our own life.<\/p>\n\n

Let us continue to humbly ask for new vocations<\/strong> and let us allow ourselves to be challenged by this moment of grace. May God continue to guide our path! <\/p>\n\n
