In continuity with the desire to care for and share our spiritual heritage<\/a>, we continue to make available to all those songs that have accompanied significant moments in our recent history.<\/p>\n\n

If on the previous occasion we shared the songs of the beatification of Mother Candida, today we take a new step and open a special space to remember and relive the canonization<\/strong>, through a very dear proposal: Juanitatxo – The Musical.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Juanitatxo – The Musical<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

In 2010, on the occasion of the canonization of Mother Candida<\/strong>, it was released <\/strong>Juanitatxo – The Musical<\/em><\/strong>with a libretto, music and songs by Manu Escudero<\/strong>, a lay member of the Mother Candida Family, very committed and identified with the charism, a teacher at the Jesuitinas School in Vigo. And it was represented, both musically and scenography, by Manu himself and members of the educational community of Miralba school (Jesuitinas Vigo). <\/p>\n\n

During this course, more than 20 performances<\/strong> were held in different cities of Spain where Jesuit schools are present. In all of them, the public was able to vibrate with the live voices<\/strong>, a careful scenography<\/strong> and colorful choreographies<\/strong>, thus entering into the life and charism of the foundress of the Daughters of Jesus. During the canonization ceremonies in Rome:<\/strong> the vigil, the meeting at the General Curia and the Eucharist of thanksgiving, we were able to listen, sing, pray and celebrate with these beautiful live songs. <\/p>\n\n

For some time now, a video has been available on Youtube that includes scenes from two performances in Vigo<\/strong>: the opening day<\/strong> (October 28, 2010, at the Salesianos cinema) and the closing performance of the tour<\/strong> (June 3, 2011, at the Auditorio Mar de Vigo).<\/p>\n\n

We continue to share our music as a way to make grateful memory<\/strong>, to take care of what we have received and to continue announcing, also through art and music, the life and message of Saint Candida.<\/p>\n\n
