We continue to advance on this Easter journey, where the Risen One never ceases to meet us. If in previous Sundays we have contemplated his peace that consoles<\/a> and his presence that makes our hearts burn<\/a>, today he presents himself to us as the One who opens a way for us: a door to Life. <\/p>\n\n

This Sunday’s Gospel (Jn 10:1-10) brings us a clear affirmation of Jesus: “I am the door”<\/em>. It is not only an image, it is an invitation, a definition of his identity that sets us in internal movement, with freedom and audacity. Jesus presents himself as the entrance and the way to a full life, to a space of truth and freedom. To enter through Him is to choose a way of living, a way of loving, a way of relating to others. <\/p>\n\n

Pope Leo XIV’s Easter message <\/a>places us before a profound truth: \"The Lord, with his resurrection, confronts us with even greater intensity with the drama of our freedom. Faced with the empty tomb we can be filled with hope and wonder, like the disciples, or with fear.\"<\/kbd><\/em><\/p>\n\n

From the General Government of the Daughters of Jesus<\/a>, the question offered to us illuminates this discernment: \"Does my way of being generate peace, trust, reconciliation?\"<\/kbd><\/em><\/p>\n\n

Choosing peace every day<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Jesus, as the door, invites us to enter into a new dynamic: that of peace that is built with concrete decisions. It is not enough to desire peace, we are called to generate it, to effectively choose the options that guarantee peace. <\/p>\n\n

In a world where so many doors seem to be closed – by fear, violence or indifference – we can be a sign of openness: welcoming, listening, reconciling.<\/p>\n\n

Our freedom is a gift, but also a responsibility. Every word, every gesture, every attitude can open paths to peace… or close them. <\/p>\n\n

Risen Jesus, thank you that you call us to generate peace in others.May we, with our freedom, always decide for peace.May your peace come to us.<\/kbd><\/p>\n\n
