‘With Him, pathway of hope’ is the motto of the General Congregation of the Hijas de Jesus during these days of prayer, silence, and profound discernment.
With great joy and gratitude, we share with the Hijas de Jesus of the entire Congregation, with the lay men and women of the Mother Candida Family, the children and young people, and those with whom we walk together in mission, that today, May 1, 2025, our sister Graciela Francovig has been elected as the new Superior General of the Hijas de Jesus.
We thank God for her generous availability to take on this service, trusting in God’s grace and the fraternal help of her sisters.

We ask the Holy Spirit to continue accompanying her and to enlighten her in this new mission she receives today. As Mother Candida’s Family, we ask that we continue to support her with our prayers, closeness, and fraternal collaboration.
General Congregation XIX is now continuing the discernment for the election of the General Counselors. Let us remain closely united in prayer.
