The pilgrimage of hope continues to move forward, and today was a special day to integrate as one group: young IFs from America and Spain sharing life, joy and faith in Badalona.
Connecting with the meaning of the Jubilee
From the early hours, the atmosphere was full of joy with songs, dynamics, prayer and lots of dancing. The rhythms shared by the young people from the Dominican Republic, who animated the group with enthusiasm, were especially noteworthy.
Through a creative and very participative journey, the groups worked on different dimensions of the Jubilee: the motto, the logo, the hymn, the prayer, the Holy Door: its origin and meaning.
Each group presented its theme with creativity, good humor and depth, giving everyone a different way of approaching this experience of grace that is the Jubilee. It was an exercise of active and shared reflection that helped everyone to situate themselves with greater awareness in this ecclesial moment.
Sending prayer.
The sending forth celebration held in the chapel was one of the most significant moments of the day. A prayer with symbols, songs, gestures and much communion, where everyone felt called, welcomed and sent with hope to live this stage in Rome.
In the silence and shared joy, the Gospel of Mark resounded strongly in their hearts: “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to all creation” (Mk 16:15), as a clear invitation to be witnesses of the Good News wherever life takes them.

A welcoming community
The Daughters of Jesus have been present in Badalona with a warm and generous welcome, making everyone feel at home. Marian FI, Blanca Esther FI, and Marta, a laywoman from Granada, from the Spain-Italy Youth Vocation Ministry team, have traveled to Badalona especially to accompany these days. They are accompanied by other Daughters of Jesus and lay people who support this pilgrimage with discreet dedication and joy.
Meanwhile, in Rome…
While all this was happening in Badalona, Teresita Tsai FI and the FI youth from Taiwan are already in Rome, where they participated in the opening Mass of the Youth Jubilee in St. Peter’s Square. The pilgrimage of hope unfolds in different places, but the spirit is one: to walk together, with the joy of those who know they are loved and sent.
