Jesus calls us today in concrete terms
In the joint journey between the laity and the Daughters of Jesus, the following calls have arisen
1. To put into practice common discernment
Discerning as a constant way of life, as a way of proceeding. Search and choose so that our projects meet the most demanding needs.
2. To live an integral ecology
Committing ourselves to protect the common home in all areas of our mission. Living in communion with all of creation is the way to combat poverty and restore the dignity of the excluded.
3.Responding to the cry of migrants and refugees
The cry of migrants and refugees reaches us and sets us out to take positions that guarantee the protection of human dignity.
4. To accompany young people
Jesus continues to call young people to live a meaningful life. As Mother Candida Family we are invited to accompany and guide them so that, in a free way, they can find their way. Young people are agents of change who teach us new styles and strategies.
5. To seek horizons as a family
Daughters of Jesus and lay people, we live our commitment to follow Jesus. A path to grow together following the steps that the Spirit urges us to take as a charismatic family. We are still open and searching for horizons.
6. To promote the union and articulation of educators.
Today’s world poses new educational challenges, which schools that follow Mother Candida’s educational model have to face together. Projecting the future together will help our schools gain evangelizing strength and broaden horizons.
