Dear Sisters,
From this distant country we would like to share with you this Japanese image of the Virgin and Child Jesus surrounded by photos of our life in mission. The first week of December, 17 Filipino children, descendants of Japanese, made their First Communion. 169 pre-school children staged before their parents and relatives the true meaning of Christmas. The sisters are visiting detention centers and nursing homes. Others, giving Advent retreats or web radio talks as means of evangelization. We accompany not only the Japanese but also migrants from various countries, such as the Philippines, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, etc. Above all we try to be witnesses of God’s love and compassion for one another. In a country where less than one percent are Christians, THE GOOD NEWS is “GOD IS WITH US!”
