3rd EIL: 3 day

Jan 30, 2018 | lay people, News

The third day was spent to get to know more about the Philippines. It began with hearing mass said in Filipino at the Manila Cathedral.

Then the IEL delegates visited San Agustin Church and Museum.

Lunch at the famous Ilustrado followed where everyone enjoyed the Spanish ambiance and cuisine.

Then we proceeded to Silahis Gift Shop for souvenirs.

In the afternoon the IEL delegates learned more about the life and works of Philippine national hero Dr. Jose Rizal.

Then an hour was spent at the Mall of Asia for a very quick shopping of Filipino delicacies and souvenirs at Kultura.

Dinner was at the Aristocrat where the delegates enjoyed Filipino cuisine and the popular past time  …Karaoke!

Day 3 was a time for reminiscing the past, (insert museum photos) appreciating the freedom we enjoy now and simply having fun together as one big family.
