This day marked the second part of the international meeting of FI Youth in Rome. After walking together yesterday along the Mother Candida Route, today they met again in a very special place: the Curia House in Rome, a place full of history, spirituality and family affection.
The event brought together: the 52 young FI pilgrims from Argentina, Bolivia, Dominican Republic and Spain -who have been walking together since Badalona-, the group of 14 young FI from Taiwan who shared with the Daughters of Jesus from the community of Casa Curia and Regina Pacis.
A dream that becomes a meeting
In this significant space was held the Third International Meeting of FI Youth, the first in face-to-face format, after two virtual meetings and a long road traveled with hope. Each month they were hopeful with the series of videos in each month; in addition to local face-to-face and virtual meetings, thus living a true inner pilgrimage.
Today, the words of St. Candida resounded loudly: “God wills it”.… “The world is small for my desires”.

A family space
The sisters of Casa Curia welcomed the group with affection, sharing moments of deep encounter. One of the highlights of the day was the tour of the Mother Candida Museum, experienced as a space of contemplation and inner resonance. Each young person was invited to stop with the slogan: “Contemplate, let yourself be affected, stay with that object that touches your heart… and share”. A moment of connection with the roots and the shared charism.

Towards the Jubilee Vigil
The Daughters of Jesus sent the group off with the necessary supplies so that they could have lunch at Tor Vergata, where the Jubilee Vigil of the Youth will take place, attended by thousands of young people, and later experience the Eucharist with the Pope. Thus sealing this journey, FI Youth to the rhythm of the heartbeat of the entire young Church gathered in Rome.
