The International Communications Commission, in addition to its daily work of communicating significant experiences of the Congregation, also has the challenge of helping to organize and make available the documentary resources of the Congregation : books, pamphlets, articles… and other materials that are part of our living memory. In this desire to care for and share our documents, today we would like to share new resources that you will be able to access through the web.
Collaborations that make this path possible
Along this path, the previous Communication Team, coordinated by Mª José Fernández, updated the “Resources” section of the website, where we find many materials, music and texts that have long been available to the entire Mother Candida Family.
On this occasion, we would especially like to thank the collaboration of Jesús’ daughters: Mª del Pilar Linde, fi and Lucía Cantalapiedra fi, who have generously contributed to the digitalization, organization and correction of some of the resources we have received and will be sharing them.
New resources available on the web
We would like to begin this new update and enrichment of the resources section, incorporating some documents that are related to the charism of the Daughters of Jesus. The new materials that we are making available are:
- Fourth vote. Mother Candida and the vow of availability for the mission
- I carry them all in my heart. An account of the last hours of M. Candida.
- May God look upon us with eyes of mercy. A reflection on God’s mercy in the letters of St. Candida Maria de Jesus.
- Primitive Constitutions. Written by M. Candida (1872-1873, 1902). Candida (1872-1873, 1902). Transcription, introduction and notes by the Commission for the elaboration of the Constitutions. Rome, 1980. Basic source for the present Constitutions.
- Illumination on Christ-centeredness and the filiation of our vocation as Daughters of Jesus. M. Candida’s experience of these two essential charismatic dimensions. Candida of these two essential charismatic dimensions, a study entrusted by the General Government to Inés Laso and Mª del Pilar Linde (Rome, 1983).
- Gospel foundations of the grace of our vocation. An introduction to the spiritual reading of the primitive Constitutions.
- Trajectory. Thoughts and phrases of Our Mother Foundress.
An invitation to share and enrich together
These documents are not just archives: they are traces of the Spirit in the history of the Congregation, seeds that continue to inspire our life and mission today.
We invite all the sisters and laity of the Mother Candida Family who know of or have digital resources that could enrich this space, to contact the International Communications Commission (CIC) by writing to us at [email protected]. You can also write to us to share what other resources you would like to find available in this section.
Let us continue together to care for and share our memory, so that it may continue to nourish the present and the future of the mission.
