The Andean America Province of the Daughters of Jesus has shared significant news: the passage of Notiandina in its original format, the newsletter in PDF and “paper”, which for fifteen years accompanied the life and mission of the province, to a digital format: a whatsapp channel.
Born after the congregational reorganization in Latin America and the Caribbean, Notiandina emerged as a means to strengthen unity, a sense of belonging and mutual knowledge among sisters and communities in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela and Uruguay.
Graciela Francovig -first Provincial Superior of Andean America and now Superior General-, this bulletin was, from its beginnings, a simple but profoundly meaningful space for communion. Through its pages we shared congregational celebrations, educational experiences, youth and vocation ministry, community life, ecclesial events, testimonies, anniversaries and the grateful memory of so many sisters.
During these years, various provincial secretaries, together with the generous contribution of sisters and lay people, supported this communication service that helped to “widen the heart” and to grow as a body in mission.
The current Provincial Superior, Sr. Dayse Agretti, expressed her gratitude for the road traveled and pointed out the need to take a step forward in keeping with the present times, seeking to ensure that communication continues to be a channel of communion and encouragement in consecrated life.
It is not an end, but a transformation.

A new stage begins: Notiandina on WhatsApp
As of March 2026, Notiandina will continue its journey through an official WhatsApp channel, a more agile and closer format that will allow us to continue sharing the life and mission of the Andean America Province.
We invite you to join us in this new stage and to continue walking in communion.
