Antoñita’s phrases: on the road to April 27th

Apr 20, 2026 | Communication, Featured, fi

We are approaching April 27, the day on which we celebrate with affection and gratitude the life of Antoñita. We want to prepare ourselves by following a simple, daily path, full of meaning: to let ourselves be accompanied by some of her most significant expressions.

Throughout these days, we will be sharing in our social networks a short phrase of Antoñita. Small “slogans” that, far from being just memories, have a special strength: that of coming to life in the concrete of each day. Because there are expressions that do not need to be long to touch the heart; a spark is enough to ignite a new way of looking, of living, of loving.

The power of the brief: living simply and deeply

We know that these phrases accompany us along our journey. They are light in important moments, impulses in daily life, and many times, a whisper of God in the midst of life. Today we want to rescue them and now “put them into circulation”, launch them into this new digital continent that is the social networks, so that they may continue to inhabit hearts, awaken life and generate hope.

We deeply believe that these words can help us to live with greater simplicity and depth, to discover that the small is a place of encounter and that the everyday is sacred ground.

A resource to share and make life

In addition, all these phrases are available in PDF format, so that they can be downloaded, shared and used in different spaces: communities, schools, groups, moments of personal or group prayer… Wherever a timely word can open the way.

May this itinerary help us to gather Antoñita’s wisdom, bring it to life and thus prepare ourselves to celebrate her feast. We encourage you to share and use this pastoral resource. You can find it in several languages: Spanish, Portuguese, English and Chinese.

We thank the international communication liaison sisters: Nori Marquéz, Margie Chen and Maria da Consolação de Matos for their collaboration with the translations of the sentences.
