The Philippines was very fortunate to have been visited by the General Econome Sr. Yajaira Helena Hernandez Oviedo and Sr. Maria Jose Alves Machado, a member of the Council on Economic Matters. Together with them was Sr. Cecilia Solis, also a member of the Council on Economic Matters.
Arriving from their visit to Taiwan last August 19, they stayed in Mater Dei for a day and had a preliminary meeting with Sr. Thelma and Sr. Lorna. On the 21st they began their visit to our centers and houses in the provinces, coming back to Manila on the 27th for the visits to our centers and houses here. The purpose of the visit was for them to get to know the reality of this country and how economic administration is done in the concrete, in order to have more data as they plan for the future.
The visits were capped by a one-day meeting with the Sr. Thelma, Sr. Lorna and the Economic Team. The meeting was fruitful, enriching, fraternal, where all were able to get ideas on how better to improve the administration of our finances.
