The Superior General, Graciela Francovig, accompanied by the Councillor, Thelma Barbarona, begins a new Canonical Visit. On this occasion, she will visit, for almost a month, some places in the East to continue getting to know the different realities of the Congregation in the world.
In the first stage of the trip, from October 18 to November 30, they will visit the two houses of the Daughters of Jesus in Japan: Hayama and Tokyo. A meeting with the sisters who live there to share time together and to encourage them in their daily life in the way of Jesus.
The second part of the visit, from the 30th to the 8th of November, they will travel to Manila, Philippines, to visit the East Asia Formation Community, which currently has three novices who will enrich their formation with this visit by sharing their faith and desire to follow the legacy of Mother Candida as reflected in the Superior General.
As Graciela asks us, we will pray for these visits so that, in reality, we can together allow ourselves to be visited by the Lord and discover in this encounter his presence.
