After the election of the General Government, we began the third phase of General Congregation XIX: “Treatment of matters.”
It is about continuing to share, in an attitude of listening, searching for discernment of God’s call to us as Hijas de Jesus at this time in the world, the Church, and the Congregation.
We shall do so through the petitions and reflections that have come to us from the whole Congregation and through the sharing among the GC delegates.
For this purpose, the Commission for the Treatment of Matters is elected. This commission will propose a course of action and identify the groups that will be most helpful in addressing the issues of great importance to the entire Congregation.

We also elected the “Editorial Commission” to edit the texts regarding the issues and to be responsible for the final text of GC XIX’s Determinations and Recommendations for the next six years.

We thank these sisters for their collaboration in ensuring the smooth flow of the General Congregation, allowing us to maintain this rhythm of discernment in making the right decisions for this moment.
