Palm Sunday | Enter with Jesus

Mar 28, 2026 | Liturgia – oración, News

On this Palm Sunday we begin together a special journey, which we have called: “CARE FOR HIM: Holy Week with the Daughters of Jesus”, an invitation to look at the world with the eyes of Jesus.

From the International Commission of Communication of the Daughters of Jesus we would like to invite you to live it as an interior itinerary, a time to stop, contemplate and let ourselves be transformed.

Under the motto: “CARE FOR HIM” (Lk 10:35b), we will be sharing a short video each day that will help us enter into the mystery of these holy days. Each video will give us a guideline from the Word and will propose a concrete call to incarnate the Gospel in our daily lives.

Throughout the videos, we will be inspired by No. 20 of the CGXIX Determination, which states:

“Reality is urging us to understand ourselves in a new way as Daughters of Jesus. We live in an era of rapidly evolving globalization, where social, religious and cultural plurality is ever greater; the challenges we face as Church are ever more complex, urgent and multifaceted. Living from the deep experience that ‘God is the Father who cares for all’ leads us to be and live as sisters to all people in a world where fraternity is broken.”

In this context, we want to make this Holy Week an opportunity to widen our hearts, allowing ourselves to be touched by reality and responding to the voice “take care of him”, from faith, compassion and fraternity.

We begin our journey

Jesus enters Jerusalem surrounded by simple people. He does not arrive with power, but with closeness and humility. Thus begins this journey, inviting us also today to enter with him into a beautiful and at the same time wounded world, where so many people seek and do good and where fraternity is so often broken.

We begin this Holy Week asking for a heart that looks like yours, capable of recognizing that we are called to be and to live as sisters and brothers to all people (GCXIX).

But this path is not automatic: it confronts us and asks us truthfully… who do I find it hard to recognize as a brother or sister? What kind of messiah am I waiting for in my life?

Perhaps the answer begins in the small things, in thanking today that simple person who silently sustains your life, in stopping and paying attention to those who normally go unnoticed.

And from there, with humility, we pray: Lord, teach us to take care of life.
