In her circular letter n ° 2, our Superior General shared that from September 24-26, a meeting of the two provincial superiors of America, the novice and junior formators, plus the one in charge of aspirants and postulants of the Caribbean would take place. This meeting was held at the “Casa Santísima Trinidad”, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
The purpose was to share how to face the challenges for our provinces of Andean America and Brazil-Caribbean, to accompany the first stages of ongoing formation, especially to unify criteria and share an itinerary to accompany the aspirancy and postulancy.
We felt urged and confirmed by the necessity and enrichment of the two provinces making the journey together. We ended with a great feeling of gratitude and hope for the gift of this space to share experiences, searches, resources. Sister Graciela Francovig, our Superior General, showed us with her closeness and interest that she is very sensitive to the theme of Vocational Youth Ministry. She was present with a letter of greeting and orientation at the beginning and with a video call almost at the end of the meeting to hear our feelings and proposals which emerged during the reflection.
We came as provinces of America, but feeling ourselves a body, thinking of everyone and knowing that this initiative opens possibilities to the other provinces of the Congregation.
