Remembrance of the beatification of Candida Maria de Jesus and Maria Antonia Bandrés

The beatification, on May 12, 1996, was a moment of grace, a step of the Lord, not only for us, Daughters of Jesus, but also for many people who, in harmony with Candida Maria de Jesus and Maria Antonia Bandrés, find in them the inspiration for their Christian journey and invoke them as intercessors.

They were beatified together, Foundress and Sister, by John Paul II during a Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Holy Father in St. Peter’s Square, Rome.

We remember her with gratitude and desire to make our own Christian journey, trusting in the help of those who preceded us and who the Church sets as an example.
