With joy we communicate to you the four sisters that the 18th General Congregation has chosen to collaborate with the General Superior. They will share the function and the responsibility of governing the Congregational Body in a way that would preserve and promote its well being and way of proceeding. They are the following :
Sônia Regina Rosa.
She belongs to the province of Brazil- Caribe. At present she is the provincial delegate for schools and other educative works and has worked as coordinator of strategic planning and animation of the charism in schools and other presences. In her congregational life journey , she had different responsibilities in the province. She was a local superior, Directress of a school and a coordinator of the support commission in schools of the provincial government. She was the provincial consultor from 2004 to 2008 and the provincial superior from 2008 to 2011 . With the reconfiguration of the provinces , she then became the provincial superior of Brazil- Caribe province from 2011 to 2017.
She is an enthusiastic person with a great sense of humor, courageous in facing challenges, creative and open-minded.
Mª Teresa Pinto Terradillos.
She belongs to the province of Spain – Italy. At present she is the local superior of the community in Burgos, Spain and the coordinator of the commission of the Family of Mother Candida. In her Congregational life, she has been a superior in many instances. She was the consultor of the Province of Spain ( Centro ) from 2001 to 2005 and later became the Provincial Superior from 2005 to 2008. She was also a provincial consultor of the Province of Spain during the Unification from 2008 to 2011 and the provincial superior from 2013 to 2016. She has worked in the schools and in the area of pastoral ministry.
Teresa was born on March 11, 1963 in Salamanca . She joined the Congregation in 1981 in Salamanca and had her perpetual professional in 1991 in Madrid.
Teresa has lived profoundly the Ignatian Spirituality. She has an amplified way of looking at things and a foresight for the future . She is passionate in all that she does and has great sense of responsibility.
Thelma Barbarona Almedilla.
She belongs to the province of Indico Pacific. At present she is the Provincial Superior. In her Congregational journey she had different responsibilities : she was the provincial treasurer from 2001 to 2009 and one of the provincial consultors of the Philippine province from 2010 to 2012. During the reconfiguration of the provinces , she became one of the consultors of the Indico Pacific Province. In addition , she was the local superior of Iloilo – Guimaras community.
She has a wide experience working in schools and in pastoral work in different places such as : Davao, Quezon City, Parañaque y in Iloilo City. She has been working in the economic administration.
She was born on Jan. 3, 1961 in Loon , Bohol, Philippines. She entered the Congregation in Quezon City in 1987 and had her perpetual profession on 1997 in Cebu City.
She is known to have great dedication in any task given to her. She is amiable, simple and has great love for the Congregation.
Teresa Li Liu.
She belongs to the province of Asia Oriental. Up to this moment she is the local superior and the Junior Mistress in the Juniorate community of Taipei. She had different responsibilities in the province: consultor of the Vice Province of China- Taiwan from 1992-1999, Superior of the Vice Province from 1999 to 2005, she was consultor of the vice province from 2007-2010, the delegate of China from 2010 to 2013 and provincial Superior of Asia Oriental during the unification of the provinces from 2013- 2017.
She was born on March 16, 1951 in Taiwan. She entered the Congregation in Taipei in the year 1980 and had her perpetual profession in Taipei last 1989.
She is a person with a broad vision of life, she is prudent, joyful and creative.
