GOING THROUGH THE HEART OF THE JUBILEE YEAR
We are coming to the end of the Jubilee Year, of the#150FI, and Advent can be an invitation to pass it through the heart and help us prepare the inner house for a new coming of the Lord.
On this occasion, we offer the Advent 2021 retreat that Mª Luisa Berzosa, FI has prepared for the community of the Curia.
ADVENT is a TIME OF WAITING and WELCOME
TO WELCOME means to change
The one that comes makes us break with our customs
and forces us to move our belongings to make space.
It also forces us to decorate the house
as a sign of arrival, with dreams to decorate it,
the wait to sustain it,
the courage to face it.
TO WELCOME is to prepare the heart,
for it is necessary to listen and greet, first of
all, the one who arrives.
TO WELCOME is availability, it is necessary to take care
of the one who arrives and serves him. Look into his eyes, smile, and hug.
TO WELCOME is a party, life is illuminated
by friendship and trust towards the one who comes,
whose presence offers us warmth.
TO WELCOME is to dispose of the heart, to decorate with love,
tenderness, and compassion. It is to receive with joy for a pleasant and happy
stay.
TO WELCOME the Lord who comes desires to dwell in me,
to feel at home, to make space for others,
to share, to host, to co-dwell in a fraternity.
TO WELCOME is a grace, the one who comes brings joy.
Advent is a time of hope. Hope is a time of welcome,
It is to make oneself available, to empty oneself so that He may enter and remain.
