“Always carrying Mary Immaculate as the Star of our paths”.
As Mother Candida family, we want to share with joy this Novena of the Immaculate Conception, so that during nine days we may prepare our hearts for the feast of the Immaculate Conception, and under the protection of Our Lady, we may enter with hope into this continuous process of filial conversion to which we are invited.
This Novena of the Immaculate Conception, which we began on the eve of the first Sunday of Advent, in this Jubilee Year of Hope, which is already in its final stages, we wish it to be a resource that helps us to pause, pray and reconnect with the heart of our faith. As Daughters of Jesus, and extending it to the entire charismatic family, we continue to go through this congregational moment that calls us to appropriate, in a more spiritual and cordial way, the Determination of GC XIX: I wish to be called Daughters of Jesus.
In the midst of the complex context in which our world lives – with diverse realities in the countries and regions where we are present – we feel even more the need to return to the source, to ask God and Mary for an open, trusting heart, capable of recognizing the grace that always precedes us.
May Mary Immaculate, Star of our paths, place us with her Son, so that we may continue to prepare our lives to be renewed by the gift of filiation, that central charismatic trait that the Spirit gave to St. Candida and that today is also offered to those of us who are part of her family.
