“Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.”
On Sunday, July 2, in the parish of María Inmaculada, in the city of Villa Ocampo, Santa Fe (Argentina), I renewed my temporary vows for two years. Everything took place in the midst of a very complex reality of the parish community, since our parish priest is going through a difficult time regarding his health, so personally everything had a deeper sense of surrender.
It was a very simple celebration, replete with emotions. It is in this parish where I came 15 years ago as a missionary and vocational stirrings began. People remember those missionaries and today they are witnesses to my vocational renewal, witnesses to the daily surrender. It is a renewed yes, my desires and longings to conform myself every day to the person of Jesus, “walking humbly with my God.”
