#150FI january 2021

January 18, 2021

We continue with our path of preparation for the celebration of the 150 years of the founding of the Congregation by the hand of the website www.150 añoshijasdejesus.com. We remember the path we are taking with our publications:

1. Beginning of the journey: December 7 and 8, 2020.

2.Greetings and resonances during the month of December 2020.

In January we presented two projects for this year:

12 months, 12 experiences, is a project that will help us to delve into the charismatic traits of M. Candida. A way of living the faith that was a gift for her, in the Church, and that has left us the Daughters of Jesus and everyone who feels called to live from these evangelical coordinates, what we call the Mother Candida Family.

We will have an article written by a Daughter of Jesus designed for adults and an educational proposal to work on this trait with children and young people offered by the Jesuitine Educational Foundation of Spain.

We already have the January feature, CHRISTOCENTEREDNESS, written by Mª Dolores (Lola) Giménez, Daughter of Jesus stationed in Elche. And the educational material of the Jesuitinas Foundation.

Get excited: believe and create. She proposes us to compose a song that collects some of these aspects: an experience of the life of Mother Candida, some of the values that she lived or the accents that she had in her life of faith and her relationship with God

We can all participate in its composition, which will be coordinated by Manuel Escudero, singer-songwriter, former student, and teacher at the Vigo school (Spain). You just have to commit to compose the song collaboratively.

In addition, on Thursday, January 21, there will be a presentation of the publication “Hidden pearls in the letters of Mother Candida”, written by Antonio Grau, a teacher at the school in Murcia (Spain) and very close to the Mother Candida Family since his beginnings. With astonishing constancy and fidelity, Antonio has been giving us, Monday through Monday for eleven years, a comment on the previous Sunday’s reading from a “pearl” found in one of the Mother Foundress’s letters. You can attend by clicking on the image.

Live interview with Pilar de la Puerta FI

Mª Luisa Berzosa interviewed Pilar, in Mozambique, from Rome, to learn more about the presence of the Daughters of Jesus in this country and the current social situation. We will be able to follow her on Thursday, January 28 from 5:00 p.m. in Rome on our YouTube channel Daughters of Jesus in the world.
