The year 2025 presents itself as a new beginning, an opportunity to rediscover the strength of the hope that has been given to us. In a world marked by uncertainty and challenges, the Church invites us to look to the future with optimism, reminding us that faith in Jesus is the anchor that sustains us in the midst of the storm.
As Daughters of Jesus, we are called to be bearers of this good news, to awaken the hope that nestles in the heart of every person.
2025, the year of the General Congregation, is a year for:
- Reconnect with our roots: Let us go back to the origins of our vocation and rediscover the strength of the first call. How is God actualizing it in me and in the Congregation?
- Embracing diversity: Let’s celebrate the richness of our differences and build bridges of dialogue and understanding. What diversity is most difficult for me? Am I willing to open myself to the challenge of what is different?
- To walk the path of synodality: A “walking together” that gives the word, listens, welcomes, detects the points of encounter and builds from there. To build a community, a Congregation, a Church where we all fit. Who do I leave out? What do I bring to this “walking together”?
- Contributing to the construction of a sustainable future: Let us commit to caring for our world, for our young people. Let us continue to join the Global Education Pact. Let us commit ourselves to an integral ecology that puts the person at the center. How am I getting involved in the Global Compact for Education? What else can I do?
In this new year, may the Virgin Mary, Mother of God, whose feast we celebrate today, guide us with her maternal protection and help us to live our vocation with renewed generosity and hope.
Happy 2025!
