To continue celebrating the feast of Saint Candida María de Jesús, we would like to give her a very special gift: a revamped website whose redesign stems directly from the spirit of the CGXIX Resolution.
This is not a change in design. It is a new way of expressing who we are, in harmony with what the Spirit has been giving us over months of listening, discernment, and shared journey—a journey that, following the 19th General Congregation, has led to the CGXIX Resolution.
“Daughters of Jesus” is our name and our deepest identity
This is how our cover now appears, reflecting who we are: religious by vocation, daughters of Jesus, and, as a result, sisters to all, called to resemble Jesus just as a son resembles his father, and sent into a world that awaits and needs the witness of a life of self-giving. Together with the laity, we are the Mother Candida family.
From that point on, the entire website has gradually taken on this same spirit of belonging, and as a “living” medium, it will continue to adapt, update, and be enriched by our charism, our life, and our mission.
The entire “About Us” section of our website —which so aptly describes and defines us—has been gently and delicately updated from our current perspective and, as we mentioned at the beginning, in light of the insights provided by the Resolution of GC XIX.
A place for the priorities that drive us
We continue to move forward, serve, and share information about “where we are needed most”—only now it reflects the daily life of the Congregation , organized around the priorities the Spirit is leading us to live out during these six years: care networks, the peripheries, educational ministries, young people, and the Mother Candida Family. Each section already has its own space, with news and content that we will continue to add.

We want this website to be, just like the Vow itself, a living space: one that grows and fills with faces, stories, and the life that God continues to make fruitful in every apostolic presence of the Daughters of Jesus throughout the world. That is why we invite you to explore it at your own pace, to discover its new corners, and to feel at home here, because it is your home, too.
We offer this to Saint Candida as a festive gift, trusting that, like her, we will continue to say “yes”—with simplicity and devotion—wherever God continues to call us.
