With great joy, on Saturday, February 11, feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, the Daughters of Jesus, family members and friends of Maria Inez Furtado de Mendonça celebrated her Golden Jubilee of consecrated life in her community – Casa Santíssima Trindade, Belo Horizonte – Brazil.
The Eucharist began with the words of joy and immense gratitude to the Father, expressed by Sister Maria Inez, to which all those present joined in.
They joyfully shared the Eucharist and the feast, in a very familial, pleasant, and simple atmosphere. During the “sobre-mesa”, without haste, they had a fond memory through the presentation of photos, keeping in mind so many people who accompanied Sister Maria Inez along the way.
We thank her for her generous dedication and enthusiasm in her service to the entire congregation. We are also grateful for so much good received throughout her life.
