As we previously mentioned, Superior General Graciela Francovig, Fi, accompanied by General Councilor Emelinda Falsis, Fi, is conducting a canonical visit to Indonesia and Japan—part of the Indian-Pacific Province—to closely follow the life of each community.
Meeting with the Sisters from Tokyo and Hayama
Sister Graciela Francovig, accompanied by Sister Emelinda Falsis, met with the sisters in Tokyo and Hayama. They shared a warm community gathering, a moment of fellowship and shared mission. It was a special opportunity to deepen their sense of belonging to the Body of the Congregation, especially during the cherished “after-dinner” conversations , in which our Superior General shared stories of life and mission from the various countries she had recently visited. These exchanges opened windows onto broader horizons within the Congregation, strengthening the bonds of fraternity and mission across cultures and communities.
The gathering was marked by simple, joyful moments: laughter, listening, and the serene joy of being together as sisters. One of the highlights of the visit was the tour of the Akenohoshi Kindergarten, where the sisters were able to witness the vitality of the apostolic mission in Japan, expressed through the care and education of the youngest children.

Thanksgiving and Farewell
After the gathering, the community celebrated a solemn Thanksgiving service in the chapel, lifting their hearts to the Lord for the many blessings they had received during those days. In a spirit of gratitude, they exchanged simple gifts—symbols of affection and remembrance that conveyed the warmth of brotherly love.
As the visit drew to a close, the farewell at Haneda Airport did not feel like an ending, but rather like a promise of future encounters. The farewell was filled with hope: the certainty that this return trip to Rome would be only the beginning of another visit to come, another chapter in the ongoing story of communion and mission.
