Caring for and sharing our documents (II)

Dec 3, 2025 | Communication, News

As we approach the 154th anniversary of the birth of the Congregation, we want to continue to offer resources to help us return to what is essential, to that first grace that sustains our vocation and makes it ever new.

1. Lives that remind us of the grace of our vocation

Throughout our history, many Sisters have been humble and luminous reflections of the Gospel. Today we would like to bring back some books that, although published long ago, continue to be a treasure for the heart:

These simple, profound and human stories remind us that our vocation is gift, path and response. They are lives that continue to speak, encourage and inspire.

2. Other materials that connect us to our history

Along with these biographies, we also make available documents, published on paper on the occasion of significant moments, which are part of our congregational memory:

  • Messages: On the Beatification of Mother Candida Maria de Jesus and Br. Maria Antonia Bandrés and 150th anniversary of the birth of Mother Candida Maria de Jesus
  • Message of the Superior General to the CongregationSalamanca, August 9, 1987 in the Jubilee Year Commemorating the 75th anniversary of the death of the M. Foundress

May all these resources-biographies, messages, documents-continue to be light, memory and encouragement on our journey. We invite you to download them, use them and share them; may they continue to make life, mission and hope grow wherever each one of us is.

We reiterate the above and continue to invite all the sisters and lay people of the Mother Candida Family who know of or have digital resources that could enrich this space to contact the International Communications Commission (CIC) by writing to us at [email protected]. You can also write to us to share what other resources you would like to find available in this section.
