We continue to make known three other sisters of the GC. One from each continent: Asia, America and Europe. Today we present Patricia Aragón, Pola Mendoza and María de la O Martínez.
PATRICIA ANNA ARAGÓN TORROBA
Patricia Aragón is from the Philippines, from the Indico-Pacific Province. Her current assignment is in Davao, Mindanao (Philippines). She works in the school.
She participates in the General Congregation for the first time.
She dreams of a world with peace, joy and hope in which we all live the filiation and fraternity. A world that breathes respect and loves creation. That we see GOD in all things … God reigns!
MARÍA DE LA O MARTÍNEZ MARTÍN
María de la O Martínez is from Spain, of the Province of Spain-Italy. She is at present the superior of the community of Galicia and lives in the Galician city of A Coruña. She works in the school “Jesuitinas” giving classes and being Coordinator of the Evangelizing Action Team. She also collaborates in family catechesis and is a CLC guide.
This is her first time in the General Congregation.
She likes to know people, places and cultures. Also enjoys walking, reading, music and the sea. Her dream is to discover every day the essentials of life and improve the dream of God in our world. María is passionate about believing that the best is yet to come.
ANA APOLONIA MENDOZA LÓPEZ (POLA)
Pola Mendoza is from Colombia, from the Province of America Andina. She is assigned to Colombia, in Reina de la Paz, Florida Blanca. She is a Provincial Counselor, legal representative of the Congregation in the school Reina de la Paz and member of the Council on Economic Matters. She coordinates the evangelizing action in the school, attends to the youth and vocational pastoral, both in the school and in the parish and in different platforms. She accompanies an aspirant.
She participates in the General Congregation for the 2nd time.
She enjoys reading, walking, playing basketball, swimming, listening to music and praying. Her dream is to live in coherence, feeling Jesus as the center of her life. For this reason, she lives in love with sharing life with joy and faith with the people with whom she walks, discovering in them the face of God.
Pola is passionate about the work for the Kingdom, that is why she gives herself without reserve in the accompaniment of boys and girls, young people, sisters, seeking to strengthen their being, their identity and their encounter with God, our Father. She also defines herself as passionate about Mary, our mother. She affirms that she always gives her hand and leads her to Jesus. In the same way, St. Cándida María de Jesús is her model of living the Gospel.
