The date of the celebration of the International Youth Meeting is approaching, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Daughters of Jesus.
In all places, there is a lot of movement of animation to participate, and a lot of enthusiasm and desire to live it, to find young people from very different places …
There are already more than 400 registered from the five provinces and from all countries and, judging by the photos they have been sending in response to the invitation to share some “founding” experience they have lived in pastoral care with the Daughters of Jesus, it is noticeable that there is a lot of Life (with capital letters), friendship, the experience of God and commitment to those most in need…
Throughout the two hours that the meeting will last, minute by minute and moment by moment, we hope that this will also be for each young person, a valuable experience for their lives, their faith, their groups, their searching for God’s will … and a valuable experience of encounter, celebration, joy, feast…
As the poster expresses, young people are on their way, searching… and they look forward to the meeting on November 6.
Taking the first and last sentences of No. 7 of the Calls in apostolic action of GCXVIII,
“Jesus continues to call young people to live life meaningfully.”
“They (young people) make us see the need to take on new styles and new strategies.”
We are already witnessing it, we really believe that it is so… And we are certain that, in the Meeting, we will confirm it, we will experience it and celebrate it…
We remind you that the International Youth Meeting will take place on November 6, Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (Rome time) with the motto: “When God gives you a name, He also gives you a mission”.
It is possible that you have already seen it in the social network, but we share it also here. It is a small video with the poster “in motion” and the videos that young people from the five provinces have sent, to motivate and encourage to register those who…, (who does not yet?), “has left it for the last day …”.
