God’s humanity, his dedication went to the extreme.
Jesus, one of us, accompanied our steps and walked our paths. We could say that he chose the furthest paths and the worst paved roads. So that no one has any doubt that if someone is up to him, it is Him. Only God is capable of standing by our side when the winds blow completely the opposite.
Jesus, a life that begins in a manger, outside his home and village, with no place in the world. “He spent doing good and healing all those oppressed by the Devil because God was with him”; (Act. 10, 38). Human beings are incapable of such goodness. Before a Jesus, as before any man or woman, We often react “without knowing what we are doing.” That explanation He gave to the fact that they put him to death by nailing him to a cross: “Father, forgive them because they do not know what they are doing” (Lc 23, 34).
His love is unshakable, it comes to a sentence and a death that embodies the failure of the best of the human heart. God went through that pain and that death, only God could do it with such dignity.
God made himself with that death and with all of ours, also with the small daily deaths and above all with those that are a consequence of following in his footsteps. Since then we know that God is holding us against himself in such a way that, if it is possible to hope against all hope, it is because the Lord Jesus has risen.
