Aug 19, 2016 | Andean America, Bolivia, Hijas de Jesús, News

With immense joy and surrounded by the love of so many people in Montero, our sister LEONOR BLEICHNER DURÁN celebrated her golden anniversary last August 15, the feast of the Assumption of Mary and “Mamita Urkupiña” so celebrated in Bolivia. And in the parish of “la Merced de Montero” to which the House and the Educational Unit (U. Educativa) of Montero belong.
Leonor is the first Bolivian sister to celebrate this beautiful memorial. Among the concelebrants were two former students of our centers of “Fe y Alegría” in Bolivia: Fr. Javier Ortiz, a former student of U.E. Virgen de Cotoca and today Provincial of the Salesian Fathers in Bolivia, and Juan Pablo Escalante, alumnus of San Germán, a Jesuit priest and currently pastor of the “Merced” in Santa Cruz.

Students of the school, educators, families, Daughters of Jesus, representatives of the neighborhoods in which Leonor works were present to be one in this joy with the Daughters of Jesus and especially Leonor.
