There are new memberships to the Global Education Pact!
– Colegio Reina de la Paz, Bucaramanga, Colombia.
– Mater Purissima School, Córdoba, Argentina.
– Jesuitinas Educational Foundation, Spain
On June 9, the Queen of Peace held a special event to express this, on the occasion of the visit of the Provincial Superior, Dayse Agretti, to the Center. They sent some photographs, a new logo that will accompany them in this stage and a manifesto in which they express their commitment, which ends like this:
“Commits to continue to move forward in a fraternal, collaborative and coordinated fashion with all the schools of the Daughters of Jesus in the world, the Catholic educational institutions of CONACED and the Archdiocese of Bucaramanga, to organize projects and events in common and share a path of renewal with the proposal of the Global Education Pact”..
The Queen, as we familiarly say, introduces us to Stage II with these last words.
Just one month later, this message arrived:
“I share with great joy that yesterday, Friday, July 7, we joined the Global Education Pact as the educational community of Mater Purissima School in Cordoba. Attached is a photo of the closing of the institutional day, in which we expressed our desire to commit ourselves as Mother Candida’s school to this initiative of the Church… We will now begin stage II”.
The Cordovans from Argentina are in high spirits and did not miss the opportunity for the Provincial Superior to participate.
And two days earlier, the Jesuitinas Educational Foundation in Spain. At their last meeting of the year, the directors of the centers formulated the new strategic framework. From the Foundation’s dream-vision, they emphasized that the strategic objectives for the next 5 years were fully in line with the Global Education Pact. An ideal moment to encourage the Foundation’s schools to continue joining the Pact .
During the next school year, all educational communities will work on the 6th call of GC XVIII, the stages of adhesion, analysis of the centers in light of the objectives of the Pact and the identification of strategic actions of each center linked to it. A process “to cultivate together the dream (…) that responds to man’s hopes and God’s design”, as proposed by the Pope in his message proposing the Global Education Pact.
In another order of things, because we know that the Pact is not mainly activities… A few months ago the Obra Social Nossa Senhora de Fátima, Montesclaros, Brazil, communicated its commitment.
Today they are developing a Sustainability Project: Ecologically correct – Taking care of our common home. It is a socio-environmental initiative that ends up helping others: the seals on the cans will be exchanged for wheelchairs. And they also celebrated Grandparents’ Day, moments of love, gratitude and appreciation for all they represent in our lives May they continue to spread their love and wisdom to future generations, leaving a legacy of love and unity!
The new adhesions to the Educational Pact and these activities, like so many others in our schools around the world, made me think today that, cold or hot, because we are in the northern hemisphere, or because we are in the southern hemisphere, we are in the northern hemisphere…. We always find educators of the School of M. Candida active. Candida School active. We are always “on call” schools.
