On March 23, the UISG presented the book “Spread Your Wings!”, published by PPC. Its author is Ianire Angulo, a religious Slave of the Most Holy Eucharist and of the Mother of God, with a degree in Theology of Religious Life from the Pontifical University of Salamanca and a doctorate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical University of Comillas (Madrid).
In a three-way interview, Carmen Picó (Coordinator of the SOFÍA Collection), Jolanta Kafka (Claretian Missionary and former president of the UISG) and Patricia Osorno (Carmelite of the Vedruna Charity and Theologian), present suggestive questions to Ianire: What has prompted you to write this book? Why the title? Something wrong? Is there anything left to talk about? In what sense do you approach the term “crisis”? How can we understand the mission of women’s religious life today? How does the way in which we conceive the mission influence community life?
We invite you to listen to the INTERVIEW and to continue rethinking our feminine religious life in such a way that, while being faithful to its roots, it is also faithful to the changing times in which we live.
