Sisters in the Holy Land: beyond COP27

The UISG, together with Sisters, Global Advocacy, organised the seminar “Sisters in the Holy Land: Beyond COP27” as a follow-up to the COP27 Summit, which took place from 6-18 November in Egypt. The event, which could be seen live on 22 November, brought together more than 125 participants.

Paola Moggi, a Comboni missionary and one of Vivat’s delegates to COP27, Durstyne Farnan, OP and Ernestine Lalao, a member of the Good Shepherd congregation who attended COP27 as a representative of her congregation and the Malagasy government, shared their testimony at the conference which you can watch again here:

In closing, Sheila Kinsey of Sowing Hope for the Planet encouraged everyone to continue to take action for the environment and to follow the upcoming United Nations Conference on Biodiversity, COP15, which will take place from 7-19 December 2022 in Montreal, Canada.
