On March 15 the work of the CPO (Official Preparatory Commission) began. According to the Regulations of the General Congregation (RCG 16) the function of this commission is to select and order the postulates presented by the Provincial Congregations and also the personal ones. Also to order and synthesize different issues that have reached the Superior General and to draw up the working regulations that will facilitate the proceedings of the GC.
At first the familiarization with the material and the careful reading of the documentation took them the first days of work that they have dedicated to individual study. On Monday, the second moment of the itinerary in the work of the commission began – sharing the work, reflection and prayer carried out and seeking together proposals for procedure for the GC. A job that will keep them busy in the coming days.
