A few weeks ago we shared the experience of the month of Spiritual Exercises of the novices of the Brazil-Caribbean Province, who are in Central America. Today, we follow the same track of initial formation and we go to the Indian-Pacific Province, where two junior sisters are living the second stage of the Juniorate.
We will be able to see in their testimonies the “Main aspects of training at this stage”.1:
In accordance with the guidelines that guide the entire training process and in order to achieve the specific objectives of this stage, the juniors must:
– Continue to deepen one’s vocation and, above all, in:
– the sense of mission, which is rooted in the filial and Christocentric experience, and is manifested in the commitment to serve our brothers and sisters;
– the unity of life characteristic of a Daughter of Jesus.
– To dedicate themselves with intensity to the theological, pastoral, professional and pedagogical preparation mentioned in the Constitutions.
– To acquire a greater apostolic experience, through insertion and progressive participation in activities proper to the Institute, with a strong sense of availability and an attitude of service to the Church in the world.
– To provide a sufficient knowledge of the ways of thinking and acting of contemporary man, a development of critical awareness and a vital sensitization to the most urgent and pressing problems of his time.
The daughters of Jesus: Crystal Bermejo and Mary Mae Santorce, who are going through this stage of formation, share with us in a video how they are living this time of search, growth and configuration with Jesus.
In this week in which we prepare to celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, and contemplate Jesus made bread of Life for all, may the experience of these young women also renew in us the desire to be bread broken and shared with those who need it most.
May their witness encourage us to live our faith with simplicity, dedication and generosity.
We invite you to watch the video and accompany them with your prayer.
